Even the church has jumped on the health food wagon.

"Even the church has jumped on the health food wagon."

Well, actually, it was churches who started the health food wagon. Specifically, it was the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and one of its early families in particular. The Adventist church headquarters from 1863 to 1905 was in Battle Creek, MI. An Adventist institution there was Battle Creek Sanitarium. The doctor in charge of it was a fellow named John Harvey Kellogg, whose brother Will Keith Kellogg put his signature on the boxes of cornflakes and other cereals that his brother developed.

Wow. Mr. Cork should host Taste of America. I never knew any of that, but it was very interesting.
