Who Dat Say Gonna Beat Dem Saints?!

What a game!

The city is acting like it is New Years!  Fireworks are being shot, horns are blowing, car alarms going off.  Wow.  Granted, New Orleans has survived yellow fever epidemics, fires, flooding, and hurricanes, I just hope the city survives this.  It will no doubt.

But can someone tell me, cause I've never experienced it before, how exactly does one celebrate their football team's first NFC championship win and first Super bowl appearance.

I dunno--you start by thanking your lucky stars the Vikes made 5 turnovers? ;)

Enjoy. See you folks next year.

Believe me. I am. Luck is that factor of football game that can never be calculated before hand.

The Vikings made 5 turnovers??? How about, the Saints defense FORCED five turnovers. Unless, of course, you believe interceptions happen all by themselves.

I'll give you the interceptions but not the fumbles...not to mention the sheer luck of the coin toss in OT. Sigh.

Were the fumbles the Saints recovered not forced? Or did Percy Harvin just drop the ball inside his own 30?

As to overtime, Lord Favre had a chance to lead his team to victory--and blew it. Again.
