Fake Virgins

This story over at the Washington Post sheds light on a recent phemomana happening in China.  Women are having surgeries to fool their soon to be husbands into thinking their soon to be wives are indeed virgin.

Favorite line from the article:

"Does she [the woman helping with the procedure] worry that she is helping young women begin their marriages with a lie?  'It's just a white lie,' Zhou said."

The foolish logic of this is that virginity is not exclusive to a piece of flesh; yet, this is the logical conclusion when the world stops realizing that sex has a metaphysical dimension associated with it.
